This cottage has been thoughtfully converted into a disabled friendly holiday let. It is approached from a paved drive and surrounded by its own private patio and garden.
The accommodation, which is f.c.h comprises of a comfortable furnished sitting room. The kitchen / dining area has a low-level hob unit and a mixture of low-level units integrated with some normal height work surfaces. There is also a combined washer /tumble drier and microwave.
Off the sitting room are two bedrooms ? one double bed and one with twin beds. Each bedroom has its own flat entry,roll-in, en suite shower room with shower seat / grab rails, toilet & hand basin.
The back door opens out onto an attractive paved patio area and garden. All doors are wide enough for wheelchairs to go through in comfort and sockets and switches are at an easy to reach height.
STABLE COTTAGE is a specially converted bungalow in the attractive grounds of Church Farm, Bircham Newton It is situated in W. Norfolk approximately 5 miles from the Royal Estate of Sandringham and 5 miles from the beach at Brancaster and Hunstanton. Bircham Newton is 12 miles from the market town of Fakenham and 15 miles from Kings Lynn. It is in an area of natural beauty but it is essential that you have a car. The cottage has been thoughtfully converted into a disabled friendly holiday let with ample space for a wheelchair. It is approached by a drive & surrounded by its own private patio
If you wish, you can pre-order basic provisions by filling in the form. Shopping is to be paid for on arrival. There is a shop 1? miles from the cottage in Docking which is open long hours and there is a deli a mile away in Great Bircham.
Please book in advance. Available from 2pm Saturday and vacate by 10am the following Saturday The cottages are in easy reach of the main house but have their own private garden and privacy. Bookings are going fast for 2004 so as a result we plan to open The Crew Yard (sleeps 4), The North Box (sleeps 4) and The Old Cart Shed (sleeps 6/8) at the end of May 2004 Further cottage conversions are planned in 2005 to provide more disabled-friendly accommodation together with a leisure complex, The Workshop. This will include an indoor swimming pool and opportunities for complementary therapies.
