Facilities for Disabled Since the completion of our major upgrade programme last year, three of our properties, Dolphin Cottage, Mor and Morawel Down, meet Grade 2 Access standards:- Ramped entrance
All level ground floor
and a accessable showers.
We can also help with other special needs - please ask.
In addition, there is ramped access to both of our beaches (however, moving a wheelchair on sand is, of course, still major challenge for most!).
Penffynnon nestles on a gently sloping hill, in an almost secret location, in the quiet holiday village of Aberporth on Cardigan Bay.
This small cluster of self-contained properties enjoys a unique and special setting by the unspoilt Welsh coast.
The former fishing village is still undiscovered by the holiday masses even though we can boast one of the area's loveliest Blue Flag beaches.

Downstairs there is a large lounge opening onto a small conservatory; dining area; master bedroom with wash basin; kitchen; and bathroom with toilet.
Upstairs there is a double and a twin bedded bedroom, and a shower room with WC. The ground floor now meets wheel chair access Grade 2 standards including a bathroom with a large shower
Has colour TV (with digi box).
Cots and high-chairs are available on request

The property is centrally heated so bookings can be taken all year round.
Dolphin Cottage
Dolphin Cottage is all on one level and designed to meet Access Grade 2 Standards for wheelchair users.
The lounge has a french window giving extensive views of Cardigan Bay with a a wood burning stove.
The adjoining kitchen / dining area is fully equipped and has a refectory table.
The bathroom has a large shower area and an adapted toilet and off the entrance lobby is a toilet / washbasin.
One bedroom has a double bed, one has twin beds and the third has bunk beds.
Most of the flooring is oak or Welsh slate, there is oil-fired central heating, and equipment includes dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, TV, digi-box and video. Outside hot and cold showers are provided.
