Set in the heart of Rutland - one of Englands hidden treasures, Barnsdale Lodge hotel Offer the perfect retreat on the edge of Rutland Water. Combining good food, good wine and great hospitality, Barnsdale Lodge Hotel is perfect for both pleasure and business.
Barnsdale Lodge Hotel, was originally a 17th century farmhouse, built at the head of a Horse Chestnut tree-lined avenue.
Constructed in local mellow Rutland stone, quarried from the adjacent estate of the Earl of Gainsborough, Barnsdale Lodge Hotel over looks the shores of Rutland Water and is set in gracefully laid out gardens.
There are 45 individually styled bedrooms, all with en-suite. The hotel features include an eclectic mix of antiques and original art by Sue McCartney Snape.
